Vinted: eCommerce site of the month
In these difficult financial times of 2023, everyone needs to make their pounds and pence go as far as possible.
There’s a buoyancy to the pre-loved clothes market, with the likes of eBay and charity shops benefiting from the surge of people wanting to snap up a bargain, rather than buy new.
This is where Vinted comes in.
Now, Vinted is not new. Apparently, it’s been around since 2008, so we’re very much latecomers. Even being latecomers though, it still feels very new and much more importantly, there are bargains to be had.
We’re used to the eBay model of buying and selling – in that traditionally the seller gets charged fees/the selling platform takes a cut of all sales. Things are a little different on Vinted, with the buyer being the one who pays a “Protection Fee”, with the seller not have to pay to sell at all.
This format means there is an abundance of cheap items to be had – because, unlike other platforms where the seller has to cater for the fees, they don’t have to Vinted.
The site itself is super simple in terms of presentation and ease of use, which makes it very easy to locate items and filter them for the size or brand you’re looking for.
Having used the site, which at first was just to test the water, it has been super easy to locate items, make the purchase and then receive them.
There are plenty of bargains to be had, just a few examples we’ve come across are:
We highly recommend you go forth and check out Vinted, it’s a surefire way of saving money and making your money go much further.
