Email Phishing Spam Alert: “Funding Support Agreement”

Please note there is an email phishing scam doing the rounds, where you will receive an email with a subject of something very similar to:

FW: Joe Bloggs shared “Funding Support Agreement V2 12.8”

The person’s name in the subject could be someone you know.

Please do not interact with this email, do not click on anything and do not enter any details if prompted.

You should delete the email, and delete it from your deleted items.

You should then contact the person (if you know them) to inform them of the email that has been sent using their email account, and they should seek assistance from their IT Services provider.

If you were to interact with this email and enter your details, it will start sending out emails from you to your email contacts, which will appear in your sent items.

Please check for and get MFA enforced for everyone in your business (your IT services provider can help you with this)

Please make people within your business aware of this.
