Why switch to Office 365?

Firstly, for full transparency, we’re huge fans of Office 365, with us providing and supporting Office 365 for hundreds of businesses across Worcestershire and Warwickshire.

If your business isn’t yet using Office 365, there will be at least one, and possibly many benefits in migrating over to Office 365. This might be for email purposes, which is where most businesses start their Office 365, but that soon develops into File Sharing and Collaboration and then onto Cyber Security and Compliance.

Potential IT cost savings to be had

If your business is maintaining onsite-dated hardware and is frequently spending money on software upgrades, you could save money by moving over to Office 365. With no onsite hardware to maintain or replace, you can say goodbye to those old servers or “Dave’s XP computer” which houses all of your company data.

Office 365 grows with your business

As your business grows (or goes through downsizing), Office 365 is designed to flex with you. You can simply add and remove people/licences to the system as you go. One month you might have ten people in your business, the next it’s twelve and the month after it’s eleven. That doesn’t matter, the service and costs flex with you.

Access from any device, at anytime

It’s a given, isn’t it? You can access your email, files and collaboration tools from any device, at any time. You’re not locked into a certain system or device, there are tools to access all of Office 365 on Windows, Mac and Linux computer systems. Android and iPhone are fully supported using apps available from the relevant app store.

Collaboration made easy

Using the likes of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, you can work together easily and share files, in a secure environment. No more emailing that important file from one side of the office to the other, or uploading a file to a file transfer service just so Shirley can process your expenses.

Security features and updates

Office 365 has many security features to help you and your business stay secure. Office 365 uses data encryption, and multi-factor authentication and has regular security updates automatically applied to it. With Office 365 your business is always on the latest version, automatically. Not getting stuck with ‘Office 2010’ and all the security issues associated with using out-of-date software.

Productivity boosted with Microsoft Copilot

Office 365 has Microsoft’s AI, Copilot available to you, immediately. From Copilot Chat to full integration with Microsoft Office applications, it’s AI-ready. Your business can boost productivity by making use of Copilot to help you with research, producing documents and automating frequent manual computer tasks.
