The owners’ blog #1

So this is the first of a potentially weekly blog article, which I’ve decided to do as the owner of Lucid Computer Solutions. I say it’s the first one. This might be the first and last one. Who knows? It’s just a little idea I’ve had. I like the idea of doing it every week, but life and business can get in the way. So let’s see where it goes.

But let’s reflect upon the end of this week, which is the week which has ended on the 5th of December 2025, and give everybody out there an update on what’s been going on at Lucid.

This week, we’ve completed a large number of installations, which has been good. We’ve been having a backlog of installation work for the last few months, really. When I say installation work, what I’m referring to very generally is normally setting up, supplying, and installing new computers and laptops for our customers. That’s been challenging over the last few months, but we’ve had a really good go at it this week. We’ve got through several installations, which have been great. There’s still a large number of installations to get done. There are still boxes unopened at our office, but we’ve made progress and headwind into that, which has been good to see from the team.

On the support front, pretty much business as usual. It’s the same week to week, really. Lots of it, lots of priority support around Office 365, more than anything else. But there’s no significant change there. It’s the usual blend of support around Office 365, email, cybersecurity, that kind of thing.

Overall, a pretty satisfying week. As I sit here on Friday at almost 3pm, I’m a little bit tired. It has been quite busy, but satisfying as well. So I shouldn’t really complain.

Elsewhere in the business, we’ve made a bit of progress on the recruitment side of the business this week. I can’t say much more about that, other than to use the word progress, which has been good. Hopefully, further news in the coming weeks about that. And yeah, I think that’s about it for this week. We’ll see what this looks like when I finish rambling on.

And for full transparency here, I’ve dictated this blog article. I haven’t manually typed it out myself. So I’m going to see what this comes out like. I’m going to post it on the blog section of our website, like any other article, and we’ll see what we think of it.

Okay. I hope that gives you all an insight as to what’s been going on at Lucid this week.
