What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme designed to help protect your business against common Cyber Security threats. When your business achieves Cyber Essentials status, you receive certification for twelve months, which some businesses or government contracts look for when putting work to tender for example.

Why should you get Cyber Essentials for your business?

You should get Cyber Essentials, to use it as a stamp of approval, that your business is serious about Cyber Security, and keeping the business protected from potential bad actors. This reassures your customers and suppliers that you’ve thought about Cyber Security and put things in place to reduce the chances of a Cyber Attack. Going through the Cyber Essentials process, it will give you an insight and understanding into your businesses Cyber Security measures and what Cyber Security measures you have in place.

We work through three phases with you. We review the existing computers, network and Cyber Security measures. Once the review is complete, we can advise on what changes need to be put in place before applying for Cyber Essentials.
