Helping the local community

Just like that, it’s December and we’re well and truly into the countdown to Christmas. I’m sure like us, you’re looking forward to some much-deserved time off to spend with your family and friends.

As we bring 2023 towards a close, we wanted to thank all of our customers for your business and trust in us this year. We continue to work hard and improve our customer service and technical solutions, thanks to the continued support for our base of customers, both old and new. Again, a big thank you to all of you.

Something we started doing a few years ago, was supporting a local charity at this time of year. We’ve previously purchased items to support the distribution of food parcels and donated to some of the charities we work with throughout the year.

This year we are supporting a local food bank and support group here in Redditch, Batchley Support Group. They operate a food bank to support people in the local community, which we’ve seen firsthand. We know how in need they are for donations, through a local nursery which also recently ran a campaign to support them through the Autumn.

We’ll be putting together a ‘big shop’ for them and dropping this in, which will be distributed to help people in the local community. No one should have to go hungry at any time of year, especially at Christmas. In particular, we’re thinking of children, whose families might be having a difficult time, and need a little help.

If you would like to donate to Batchley Support Group, or would you like to know about the work they do in the local community, you can do so by visiting their website which is batchleysupportgroup.com

Having these small local charities available to support local people, really make a difference. Helping them with donations ensures they can continue to provide support where it’s needed. You never know in the future, when you might need this type of help. By all of us supporting them, we can help them to continue to provide support now and in the future for anyone who needs it.

Thank you again to all of our customers for your business this year, we wish you a Happy Christmas and all the best for 2024.

Gavin Moorhouse is the owner of Lucid Computer Solutions, based in Redditch, Worcestershire. He and the Lucid Team wish you well this Christmas time.
